The aim of the programme is to contribute to solving the problems in the tourism sector as a result of the coronavirus infection and related preventive measures and to support, through bank guarantees, the access of travel agencies and tour operators to bankruptcy insurance, which is compulsory for them by law.

What can be guaranteed?

The COVID CK Guarantee programme is financed from the national resources of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The programme was developed in cooperation with the Ministry of Regional Development and was discussed with the Association of Czech Travel Agencies, the Czech Tourism Union and the Czech Association of Insurance Companies.
