The Board of Directors of the National Development Bank (NRB) consists of Tomáš Nidetzký, Chairman of the Board; Radka Turková, responsible for the Business Division; Pavel Marek, responsible for the Finance Division; Emil Holan, responsible for the Risk Management Division; and Bohumil Hyánek, responsible for IT and Operations.

Tomáš Nidetzký
Chairman of the Board of Directors
Tomáš Nidetzký served as a member of the Bank Board of the Czech National Bank (CNB) from 2016 to 2022 and, from December 2018, as its vice-governor. Prior to that, he held a number of senior management positions, including at NN Pension Company Czech Republic, Česká spořitelna Insurance Company, Stavební spořitelna České spořitelny, ČSOB Insurance Company, and the ING Group.
Between 1999 and 2004, he was a member of the presidiums of both the Association of Pension Funds of the Czech Republic and the Czech Insurance Association. At the beginning of his career, he worked at the Securities Centre, Komerční banka, and Česká spořitelna.
He graduated from the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics at the Prague University of Economics and Business and completed postgraduate studies at Oklahoma City University in the United States.
Since 2 May 2023 he has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Development Bank.
Emil Holan
Member of the Board of Directors
Emil Holan began his professional career in 2002 at Citibank Czech Republic, where he took part in a number of major projects and held various risk management positions within the corporate banking division. Following a one-year tenure at Deloitte Czech Republic in 2007–2008, he joined Commerzbank in January 2009, focusing on risk management, restructuring, and the recovery of distressed assets.
From July 2015, he served as Director of the Credit Risk Department at the Czech Export Bank (CEB). In 2018, he became a member of the CEB Board of Directors responsible for risk management and subsequently also served as Vice-Chairman of the Board. He graduated from the Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Electrical Engineering.
Since 1 October 2024 he has been a member of the Board of Directors of NRB, responsible for the Risk Management Division.
Radka Turková
Member of the Board of Directors
Radka Turková has extensive management experience in the banking sector, particularly in business development, strategic management, marketing, product management, and customer experience. Throughout her career at institutions such as Komerční banka, Česká spořitelna, and Citibank, she participated in the preparation and implementation of transformation projects, the development of innovations in corporate banking, and the management of business and product strategies. She has experience leading multifunctional teams and serving on international steering committees.
Since 1 August 2026 she has been a member of the Board of Directors of NRB, responsible for the Business Division.
Pavel Marek
Member of the Board of Directors
Pavel Marek has extensive experience in finance gained during his long career with Česká spořitelna and the Erste Group. He held various management positions focusing on controlling, accounting, taxation, capital management, and investor relations. In addition to his corporate experience, he has also gained valuable expertise in the financial management of start-ups.
He broadened his international experience during his time at the Erste Group holding company in Vienna. He studied at the Prague University of Economics and Business and at IESE Business School.
Since 10 April 2024 he has been a member of the Board of Directors of NRB, responsible for the Finance Division.
Bohumil Hyánek
Member of the Board of Directors
Bohumil Hyánek joined the National Development Bank from Arthur D. Little, where he served as Director and Chief Strategy Advisor. He has extensive experience in digital transformation within the banking and insurance sectors. During his career, he has also held positions at GE Capital and Erste Group.
Since 6 January 2025 he has been a member of the Board of Directors of NRB, responsible for the IT and Operations Division.
